Pro Line 150 Boat SOLD!
PENDING SALE. I HAVE A DEPOSIT TO RESERVE THE BOAT UNTIL THE TEST RIDE THIS WEEKEND. IF THE DEAL FALLS THROUGH, I'LL RELIST ON CRAIGSLIST AND UPDATE THIS ARTICLE.
This is a clean 1995 Pro Line boat rigged for fishing. The original factory handrail was removed to make room to land fish, and accommodate the foot-controlled trolling motor.
Originally the boat was my father's, and he was the original owner. He gave it to me before he passed from cancer in 1998. The boat has mostly sat with a cover, since I have so many other hobbies! Read the last statement as "this boat and engine has little wear and tear!"
I've fished from it on Percy Priest Lake, Center Hill and the Cumberland River. The boat is not a rocket, but it gets you there and is easy on gas. The self-draining esign is seaworthy, tested in 3-foot chop on Choctawhatchee Bay in Florida. An average adult can stand on rail to land a fish and not tip this boat over - it's very solid.
SPECS:
- 1995 Pro Line 150 (15' 6" long)
- 50hp Force Outboard
- Motor Guide 45lb foot-controlled trolling motor
- Two batteries with switch
- Good Condition Trailer with new lights and spare wheel (same year as boat)
- Fold-down canopy that's currently removed but easy to re-install.
- Miscellaneous accessories - life jackets, several anchors, etc.
FULL DISCLOSURE:
I want to include is many details as I can to show what things are not showroom perfect. Maybe these repairs are negotiable?
- Dad painted the bottom with bottom paint years ago. It's deteriorated and looks a little ugly. You can't see it when it's in the water and doesn't have any effect.
- The trailer spare is in excellent condition, but the wheels need tires. One roller is cracked and broken and needs changed. The two side skids are loose and probably need some new lag bolts. And, as of this listing, I have the trailer light replacement kit but haven't installed it yet.
- I would probably change the gear case oil in the foot of the engine. I would have done it before sale, but I don't want to hide any "inspection evidence" by doing so.
- I'm not sure whether the running lights work or not. If you're fishing during the day it's a non-issue.
NADA lists this boat at $3500 without the trailer or trolling motor. I'm asking $3500 negotiable for the whole package.
I'm selling the boat to buy a Yamaha Majesty. If you have a way to trade for one, I'm all about that!
